Bose-Einstein Condensate Multiblocks

A new system for assembling late-game parts, created to replace Advanced Assembly Line spam for Eye of Harmony components. It is unlocked at the end of UIV, alongside The Forge of the Gods.

The Bose-Einstein Condensate Line:

The BEC Line, or BEC Suite, are a set of five multiblocks that only work together, and they take over the late-game parts that used to need hundreds of Advanced Assembly Lines. The Entanglement Apparatus entangles condensate 1:1 out of a material's molten or fluid form at a slow pace, the Containment Field stores it, the Maxwell Gate passes it one way from one network into the next, and an Observation Array supplies nanites, power and condensate to the Teleportation Nodes that run the recipes. Condensate exists nowhere outside the network, so the system has its own hatches and conduits.

The Entanglement Apparatus uses a lot of power to entangle fluids very slowly, it is recommended to passive entanglement so you do not have to wait on fluids while crafting in BEC.

The Maxwell Gate has one filter slot per condensate type and passes everything while no filter is set. Fluid input hatches on the gate set the filters, mapping each fluid they hold to its condensate. The gate draws 1A of UIV while it is on.

The five BEC multiblocks linked: Entanglement Apparatus, Containment Field, Maxwell Gate, Observation Array and its Teleportation Node

Teleportation Nodes never join the conduit network. A node's only link to its Observation Array is a pair of Line-Of-Sight Connector Hatches, one on each machine, facing each other in a straight line up to 128 blocks apart with only transparent blocks between them. The beam lights up while the node is crafting.

Condensate Assembly is done using nanites, and the number of nanites sets the speed. Every slice of a recipe requests a nanite tier. A step whose tier you cannot supply makes no progress at all. Otherwise a node's progress per tick is the nanites it is given, divided by its parallels, by 2 for every tier of overshoot, and by one more than the number of unrequested condensates it can reach on the network. Supplying a magmatter nanite when it requests carbon therefore runs 512 times slower, and mixed nanites count as the lowest tier present. An Observation Array feeds at most 30,720 nanites at a time, which caps how fast its nodes work. The Nanite Tier Detector Hatch reports the tier a node is asking for, either as a signal against a tier you set or as a redstone level equal to the tier.

Condensate can reach a node at any time during a craft. If any is still missing when the craft ends, the craft fails, its item inputs are gone and the node switches itself off. Past three unrequested condensates a node fails the craft outright and switches off as well. The Teleportation Node Controller Hatch pauses a node, either at once or at the start of the next step. Each node also has settings for its minimum and maximum parallels and a speed divisor that slows down to compensate for slow setups.

New BEC-Only Components and Materials

BEC adds 8 new components to use further within recipes. Shielding, Waveguides, Energy Conduits and Electrogravitic Valves come in three tiers, at UIV, UMV and UXV, called Primitive, Pristine and Perfected. Wave Focuses, Resonance Chambers, Sensor Arrays and Field Manipulators come in four, from UEV to UXV, called Rough, Reinforced, Refined and Resplendent.

Two new materials, Shijima and Churitsu, have been created to act in tandem with Tairitsu, forming a trio. These three materials are used in high demand in the BEC Line. A new lategame magical material, Hexanite, is also used for high end recipes such as Eye of Harmony.

Various UIV-UXV blocks can be made in BEC, such as: The Forge of the Gods' blocks, the UMV and UXV Component Assembly Line casings, and the Transdimensional Alignment Matrix, along with others.

Eye of Harmony parts move into the BEC

Eye of Harmony parts are now assembled in BEC instead of the Assembly Line. The on-tier material cost is about the same as before, and the old Dyson sphere materials in those recipes gave way to tier-appropriate ones. Infinity Chests are also absent from the recipes now, reducing the need for Dire Tables in endgame.

BEC does not replace the Advanced Assembly Line, you will still need a couple to create blocks such as Pseudostable Black Hole Containment Fields and UHV-UMV Solenoids to craft Eye of Harmony blocks.
